The Lightning Rod comes in either 1,000,000* volts or 1,500,000* volts making these the highest voltage pen type stun gun's available. Yet at 6 1/2" long and about an 3/4" thick it is easy to conceal and handle.
Just test firing this unit into the air is often enough to stop an attacker. As the bright electric current pulsates across the top of the unit it creates an intimidating electrical sound. An attacker with any sense at all will be stopped in his tracks.
If the sight and sound doesn't stop him a jolt from this unit certainly will. The LR1000 has a built-in LED flashlight that provides a convenient source of light whenever you need it and eliminates the need to carry a heavy bulky flashlight.
Three levels of safety have been built in. The protective cap must be removed, the safety switch must be in the ON position (this will cause a red LED warning light to come on) and the trigger pressed down.
Although these model's are slim enough to carry in your pocket or slip into your purse we have included a holster for those who wish to carry it on their belt.
The 1,000,000 volt model needs two CR2 batteries (3 volt lithium batteries) which have been included. The 1,500,000 model has rechargeable batteries included and installed. The unit comes with a recharging cord for easy recharging.
